Center for PCOS @ Drexel | | DREXEL FERTILTY REPORTS THE FIRST ROBOTIC REVERSAL OF A TUBAL LIGATION IN PHILADELPHIA!
In late August Dr. Minassian, Director, Drexel Fertility, successfully performed the first robotic tubal reversal in the Delaware Valley. The Da Vinci surgical robot, at Hahnemann University Hospital, makes it possible to do the reversal as a same day surgery, allowing the patient to return home the day of the procedure instead of a one or two night in-hospital stay. Just as important, it gives patients who don't have insurance coverage for reversals a chance to pay fixed fee of less than $7,000. for the procedure. Drexel Fertility at Hahnemann University Hospital is only the third center in Pennsylvania to offer the procedure.
